Our lunch time clubs are designed to encourage maximum student involvement in sports during lunch time. Coaches maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach whilst ensuring behavioural control and session safety.

Sport Specific Clubs

These clubs are typically parent-funded and focus on specific sports, including options like Dodgeball and Football. Parents have the convenience of booking and paying for these clubs using the Boom Sports online booking system. Schools can choose to access the register electronically or print it out for reference.

Drop in Active Lunch Clubs

School-funded drop-in sessions empower students to select their preferred activities, offering them freedom of choice. These clubs feature a mix of easy-to-understand games to keep students active and entertained. Our coaches require minimal space, approximately one-third of a netball court, to conduct these sessions.

Fulfil physical activity guidelines

Active Every Day

Active lunch clubs play a pivotal role in helping students meet their daily recommended 30 minutes of physical activity within primary schools. These structured and captivating activities at lunchtime create opportunities for students to partake in physical exercise, fostering improved overall health and well-being.

2

A solution for energetic children

Channel Energy

For naturally energetic and active children, active lunch clubs provide a dedicated space and time to channel their energy constructively. These clubs offer a structured and supervised environment where students can engage in sports and physical activities aligned with their interests and abilities.

3

Maximise your budget

Not Only Coaches

Active lunch clubs provide an effective means to optimise budget allocation for lunchtime supervision. Instead of exclusively hiring lunchtime supervisors, coaches can seamlessly assume the role of supervisors whilst simultaneously delivering enhanced sports experiences. This dual responsibility ensures the efficient use of resources, while providing students with valuable physical activity experiences during lunch breaks.

4

Promote broader participation

Building New Skills

Active lunch clubs also act as a gateway to encourage a diverse range of students to embrace physical activity. By offering a variety of sports and activities, these clubs create opportunities for students who may not typically engage in traditional sports or may lack access to extracurricular activities outside of school. This ethos of inclusivity ensures that all students can participate and reap the benefits of physical activity.
